MANILA – Overcast skies and light rainfall are expected in Mindanao on Saturday due to the presence of an Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao regions will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

The weather forecast warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms brought by the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds headed south to southwest will blow over northern Luzon, with slight to moderate seas.

The rest of the country will have the same wind speed but headed southeast to south, with similar coastal water conditions.

Temperatures in Metro Manila will range from 26°C to 35°C; Baguio City, 18°C to 25°C; Lipa City, 24°C to 36°C; Metro Cebu, 27°C to 32°C; Cagayan de Oro City, 27°C to 30°C; and Metro Davao, 26°C to 32°C. (PNA)
